Step 2: Receive your welcome email from SLVP
Step 3: Join our Telegram group! (Please ensure you have created a Telegram account if you have not done so already)
Step 4: Await exciting volunteering announcements to be posted up!
Step 5: You are officially SLVP – rities

SLVP Logsheet


Step 1: Fill in the relevant areas of the log sheet before verification. Please ensure your Event Date, Event and Role Description E.g. O-Week Feb 2023 (Usher), Start Time E.g 09:00 and End Time E.g 18:00, Supervisor Name, Department/Organization, Supervisor Contact Number and email address is clear.
Step 2: Please update the name and contact number of your PIC before you acquire the approval.
Step 3: Submit the forms.
Step 4: Check your SLVP points here, 7 working days after submission.

 

How to Engage Volunteers with SLVP Support

Clubs and Societies

Need Volunteers for Your Approved Event?

All Clubs and Societies events must be supported by SSSC and Student Life through an approved e-proposal. Once the event is approved, club members must submit the volunteer request form to the SLVP team at least one month before the event date.

Internal Staff

All staff planning to request SLVP support must ensure their event is approved by HMU before confirming any bookings.

Once the event is approved, club members must submit the volunteer request form to the SLVP team at least one month before the event date.

Approval is granted on a case-by-case basis and aligned with the university’s values and student availability.

External Client / Organization

All requests must follow Student Life’s terms and be submitted at least 1 month in advance. Last-minute requests will not be entertained. Approval is granted on a case-by-case basis and aligned with the university’s values and student availability.
