Successful candidates will be expected to convene and teach undergraduate units of study in the School of Design and Arts in academic disciplines related to 3D modelling & animation and motion graphics in Multimedia Design and their research expertise. In addition, the ability to teach a wide range of design subjects including user interface (UI) design, digital publishing, branding, experiential design, photography and video production will be an added advantage. Knowledge of trends in emerging technologies and gamification will be highly valued. Experience with rapid prototyping will be considered a plus. The successful candidate(s) shall provide leadership in teaching, both traditional and non-traditional research, as well as external engagement for Multimedia Design and the University as a whole.

Requirements:
  • PhD in Creative Media Technology; Communication Design; Multimedia Design; or related disciplines.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s degree (MA or MFA) with significant industry experience in a relevant field will be considered.
  • Knowledge in 3D modelling, animation, and motion graphics is essential.
  • Knowledge in UI design, digital publishing, branding, experiential design, photography or image production will be an added advantage.
