Senior Lecturer (PhD) – Early Childhood Education [fixed-term contract] Successful candidate will be expected to convene and teach undergraduate units of study in the School of Design and Arts in academic disciplines of education, specialising in early childhood education. Specialisations in TESOL, Educational Leadership and Management, Educational Psychology and/or Education Technology may be considered.The successful candidate must demonstrate extensive knowledge and expertise in early childhood pedagogy and research. Furthermore, the ability to teach a broad spectrum of education-related subjects, including developmental psychology, curriculum design, special education, educational technologies, and pedagogical theories will be highly regarded. The appointed Senior Lecturer will lead by example, providing exceptional teaching and guidance in both established and innovative research methods as well as foster external engagement for the Early Childhood Education program and the university. Additionally, the capacity to instruct a wide range of communication subjects including media production, digital publishing, advertising, media theory, communication, and visual communication will be beneficial.
