Students need to apply to graduate from their course and to receive their award certificate. Even if you have successfully completed all your subjects, you have not officially graduated and cannot call yourself a graduate – until you have been through the graduation process.
To graduate, you need to apply by submitting the Application for Award / Graduation via ONLINE.
Before applying for graduation, you must refer to the Graduation Checklist to ensure a smooth process towards your Graduation.

You should apply to graduate during your final semester of study, before sitting for your final exams/assessments and before the official result release date.
Be sure to complete the online application before the closing date for your intended graduation.
How we determine if you are eligible to graduate
Your faculty or School will confirm your eligibility with the Graduation Unit at least four weeks prior to the ceremony date.
You may submit your application any time before or by the :

Any application after the deadline will be considered in Next available Mail out or Ceremony.
If you wish to change your status of attending to in absentia, you must advise the Student Central or Graduation Unit by email or by submitting an Amendment to Application for Award / Graduation at least 1 month prior to the ceremony.
You can only amend your graduation status once.
If you provide less than 1 month notice, you will be charged RM100 for administration/cancellation fee.
